February 17, 2018 — Lisa Parshley – one of only 500 oncology veterinarians in the world – got fed up with the political scene during the election cycle in 2016 and decided to get into action. She got elected to the city council. She fought an opponent who played dirty – sending out a team to steal her signs and testing out power plays on her – like at the debate where he dismissed her to the audience, as “a vet, what does she know about politics…” Enough to get elected and serve, sir – when you did not!
