Politicians Are Like Diapers

March 17, 2018 — Lola Flores and Tyler Buntain started a “Huddle” right after the first women’s march in 2017. Having grown up in Mexico, and after their master’s degree in the U.S. the couple considering returning to Mexico. Post-election they decided to stay in the States and commit to issues that they cared about, things that they believe make America a country like no other.

As the Huddle morphed into Oly Embrace, they found themselves running a progressive resistance group focused on local issues. Their organization has become a platform to help keep people informed and give them a place to use their voice and to support community-minded actions.

In this episode they share what it’s like to stay active in the resistance, while working full time and raising a 3 year old and a newborn.
